We’re Alkonost Team, an indie game studio from Serbia with a big vision — to blend Slavic mythology, psychological horror, and deep narrative into a unique, haunting experience. Code Alkonost: Awakening of Evil is our debut title, and it marks the beginning of a larger universe we’re building with heart, myth, and shadows.

🌑 What is Code Alkonost?

Code Alkonost is a psychological horror game inspired by Slavic folklore and ancient superstitions passed down through whispers. You play as Vera, a woman searching for her missing brother in a forgotten village where the boundary between the living and the dead has long been broken.

It’s a world where reality bends, spirits linger, and every object and encounter has deeper meaning — if you dare to look closer.

🔨 How Did It All Begin?

We started as a small team of creatives — designers, programmers, artists, and storytellers — united by a simple question:
Can we make a game rooted in our local culture that still speaks to players worldwide?

We had no big budget or major backing. Just passion, folklore, and sleepless nights. Today, players around the world are exploring the eerie forests and cursed ruins of Code Alkonost — and we couldn’t be more grateful.
